Marylin Severin

Counsellor (BACP)

My name’s Marilyn and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor. I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Level 4, after five years of study.  I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have worked with people with a range of mental health needs for over 25 years: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Personality Disorders; Bipolar Disorder; schizophrenia; self harm; suicidal ideation; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); Anxiety & Depression; phobias; addictions; and eating disorders, amongst others.

I can offer mindfulness, compassion, and CBT and, being registered blind myself, I am able to fully listen, understand and empathise without any judgement in order to help with self reflection and emotional needs.

I see great value in working with people that endure psychological and emotional challenges, and watching them open and blossom, whilst they learn to move through barriers of fear and mistrust.

I will give you your own therapeutic space where you will be able to find your real self, to enable you to move forward with confidence in your life, through your own endeavours.

Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:  4:30 p.m. – 8: 30 p.m

Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
