I am a Registered and Accredited Member of the BACP and am trained as an Integrative counsellor, which means I am able to tailor the way I work to meet your needs. 

I am now able to offer face to face sessions whilst continuing to offer telephone counselling if this is what you prefer.

I am able to provide both short and long term counselling and believe that the therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and client is of great importance. The therapeutic relationship is based on trust and confidentiality and I aim to provide a safe and warm environment in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.

I have experience of working with a variety of issues including bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, low self esteem/confidence and stress related issues. I have worked with a wide range of adult client ages including young adults (16+).

I have experience of working as a counsellor within Cruse bereavement care, the mental health charity Mind and within a college of further education with young adults.

I understand that there are times in our lives when we have emotional difficulties that we are unsure how to overcome. Sometimes it can help to talk to a counsellor about your concerns to help you explore more challenging thoughts or feelings you may have and to have support to find your own way forward that provides the best possible outcome for you.

I believe that with the right support all individuals have the potential to make, what they believe to be, beneficial changes to their lives and that everyone has the potential to build better relationships with both themselves and with others around them.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation appointment to discuss if what I am able to offer you will meet your needs. My sessions are 50 minutes and are at a fee of £50 per session.
